Fujifilm have today announced a plug-in for Lightroom that allows the X-T1 to shoot tethered.

I will try to clear this up, but the announcement seems confused as it says the software is for Windows, but then in the specifications section states OS.X too! Certainly Fujifilm’s own HS-V5 tethering software is Windows only, but I’m not sure for this plugin.

New Plug-in for Adobe® Photoshop® Lightroom® will allow tethered capture with the Fujifilm X-T1

Fujifilm Corporation is pleased to announce the launch of Plug-in software for Adobe® Photoshop® Lightroom® that will enable PC tethered shooting with the FUJIFILM X-T1 and X-T1 Graphite Silver Edition.

The plug-in will be available to download from 26th February 2015 for customers that have purchased the “HS-V5 for Windows® Ver.1.0” software.

Once the X-T1*1 or X-T1 Graphite Silver Edition*1 is connected to a computer using a USB2.0 cable*2, the Tethered Capture Plug-in for Adobe® Photoshop® Lightroom® allows users to import captured images or control the camera exposure directly using Lightroom®.
