This is another favourite of mine, the start of many firsts and another very personal photograph.
Shot with the X-Pro1 + XF 35mm f/1.4 on the second day I had the camera! Shot at f/1.4.
A favourite for many reasons, not only because it was one of the first shots I took with the X-Pro1 and the XF 35mm lens. I love environmental portraits, they are my favourite type of shot. I think this image tells a story. It was shot in the same place that I proposed to my wife (that’s her in the photo!) it was the first image that caught Fujifilm UK’s attention, was used on their Facebook banner is part of my X-Photographers gallery and the start of a great relationship with Fujifilm.
