I’m doing an on-location lighting workshop in Manchester on the 19th November with professional model Elle Beth.
We will be working on the streets (weather permitting!) and looking at different lighting setups, balancing ambient and artificial light. This is aimed at people wanting to create on-location setups for a photographer working on their own. We will be using a Profoto B1 flash and a maximum of 3 modifiers to keep things light, as well as speedlights to create both simple and dramatic lighting with just one light source.
The workshop is aimed at photographers of all skill levels who want the chance to shoot on location with a professional model and to try out both the Profoto B1 system and ways of shooting with speedlights. I will be shooting with the Fujifilm X-Series cameras and Fujifilm will be lending some gear for the day so you can try out various cameras and lenses if you wish to do so. I’ll also have a the superb new Gemini twin-speedlight bracket from Damien Lovegrove to show off.
The cost is a very reasonable £50 per attendee and there are a maximum of 6 places so you won’t be over crowded and get plenty of time to shoot.
Full details in the link below, which is also where you can book for the event.
