Fujifilm have just announced a firmware update – v2.0 for the X10 enthusiast compact camera.

The firmware will add a Quick menu to the X10, like the one on the X-Pro 1 and X-E1 – that’s going to be a great addition. I’m hoping that Fuji will do something similar to the X100 too!

The update also adds quite a selection of “Advanced” filters – something that’s becoming popular on many cameras these days.  Olympus have been well known for putting them on their PEN range.  Now you can have the same sort of thing on your X10, and without having to buy a new model!

Another great update from Fujifilm that show they are 100% committed to the X-range of cameras, and to improving them rather than just replacing them with a new model.  This sort of thing gives you confidence to go out and buy their cameras.
