Fujifilm X-E2 hand grip and tripod plate
I have got the new Fujifilm X-E2 hand grips and plates in stock in the PhotoMadd Shop – available now to ship immediately. Quantities are limited from the first batch, so order soon if you want one sooner rather than later. Next batch will be due in next week if you place back-orders.
This is a custom-made CNC machined aluminium plate designed specifically for the Fujifilm X-E2.
It can be fitted and left on the X-E2 without interfering with any of the functions of the camera. It does not block access to the battery, SD Card or connectors.
The Fujifilm X-E2 hand grip makes holding the camera much more secure in the hand, and the plates are excellent added protection as well as adding a little bulk to the camera for stability, especially with the newly released 55-200mm lens.
It is compatible with the standard ARCA-SWISS tripod heads, which is also used by Kirk and 3 Legged Thing. I highly recommend the 3 Legged Thing Keith or Brian with the Airhed 1 ball head for your X-E2. You can purchase the ball heads separately to fit on your existing tripod.
It is an all metal design which splits into three pieces. You can use it in any one of four ways.
– As a complete kit with both the vertical L-plate and the grip attached
– With the base plate and grip.
– With the base plate and vertical L-plate
– With just the base plate
The vertical L-plate allows you to shift your camera quickly into portrait mode without having to fiddle about.
Allen keys are included to allow quick assembly and disassembly.
The base plate is attached with a screw which goes into the existing tripod socket. This can be tightened with both and allen key or screwdriver/coin so you can do it whilst out in the field.
The base plate includes a tripod mounting point which is moved to the central line of the lens.
