Fujifilm have announced the upcoming v2.0 firmware for the X-Pro 1.

Main improvements are the much requested faster AF, more responsive MF and much faster write speeds to SD cards.

Auto-ISO has had an ISO 6400 option added, but (as yet) a minimum shutter speed option (as we have on the X100) hasn’t been announced, which will be a great disappointment to many X-Pro owners.

Lens firmware will be released at the same time.

Release is scheduled for 18th September – hopefully Fujifilm will be able to do it for me on their stand at Photokina!
