Here are just a few sample images from my first evening with the [easyazon_link asin=”B00COJR5A8″ locale=”US” new_window=”default” nofollow=”default” tag=”m06d-20″ add_to_cart=”default” cloaking=”default” localization=”default” popups=”default”]Zeiss 12mm Touit[/easyazon_link] lens on my X-Pro1.
Early impressions are very good. After reading the reviews I was wondering if this lens was worth bothering with, I have to say that I’m pleasantly surprised.
I love the really close range focusing – I can pretty much touch the hood on things and focus on them, it makes for some great effects!
My first impression is that colours seem just a little richer than with the Fuji 14mm. AF is perhaps a little slower and macro mode on the camera doesn’t seem to do anything.
Manual focusing is more responsive than the Fuji lenses, but you still feel like you’re turning a ships wheel to get it do move from one end to the other!
Anyway, here are a few sample images I took tonight – this is my first day with the lens! Click on any of them to get larger versions.
